Mallanganee Primary School is a
small rural school set in the
village of Mallanganee, on the
north coast of New South Wales
(NSW), situated 40 kms west of
Casino, just off the Bruxner
Highway. Mallanganee is one of
the Kyogle Shire's rainforest
gateways. One and a half hour's
drive from Ballina, and 1 hour
from Lismore, the village is set
in the foothills of the Richmond
Range. Mallanganee is an
Aboriginal word which means
'place of tall pines.'
Mallanganee Primary School has a
proud tradition of serving the
